ENDANGERED COLOMBIAN PRIMATES

Colombian Primates that are Critically Endangered (CR): Plecturocebus caquetensis, Saguinus oedipus, Ateles hybridus, and Ateles fusciceps

Critically Endangered (CR) species are those classified by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) in the IUCN Red List as the most endangered of all species. In Colombia four species of primates are classified CR. More details on what this classification means can be read here in English and here in Spanish. These species need urgent actions to guarantee their future in Colombia.
